Members of the Midwest Region’s Comcast Business team participated in the KS95 for Kids Radiothon on Dec. 6 at the Mall of America, an annual on-air fundraiser benefiting Gillette Children’s and M Health Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital Cancer program.
It marked the 11th year of Comcast Business’ involvement with this important initiative.
Comcast Business provides the technology for the phone bank through its Business VoiceEdge® system, a cloud-based voice service which ensures lines stay open for donations to come in. Over the course of the day, more than a dozen local team members volunteered their time by answering calls from the phone bank and made a $15,000 donation.
“We are honored to support our local community by providing the phone system for the KS95 for Kids Radiothon benefiting the life-changing work being done every day by Gillette Children’s and M Health Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital Cancer program,” said Rob Patterson, vice president, Comcast Business, Midwest Region.
“Our team is dedicated to ensuring seamless connectivity for the event so the focus can remain on raising funds for the vital healthcare services our hospitals provide. Together, we’re proud to make a difference.”
The event has collectively raised more than $20 million for the partner organizations over the years.
