Uplifting Small Businesses with the 2nd Black Entrepreneurs Day for Black History Month

Comcast was proud to sponsor the second annual Black Entrepreneurs Day at the State Capitol. Hundreds of Minnesota Black business owners and allies gathered at the State Capitol on February 16 for a “Rally in the Rotunda” organized by Sheletta Brundidge from ShelettaMakesMeLaugh.com. The event featured guest speakers including Lieutenant Governor of Minnesota, Peggy Flanagan, Speaker of the Minnesota House of Representatives, Melissa Hortman, and State Senate President Bobby Joe Champion,

This year, the event broadened to several Greater Minnesota cities, including Rochester, Duluth, and St. Cloud creating deeper opportunities for Black business owners to connect.

Comcast Business hosted open forums where small business owners could ask questions around connectivity and cybersecurity. Every attendee that stopped by was entered to win an iPad to support their business technology needs.
