Comcast Twin Cities is honored to have been recognized as the inaugural recipient of the St. Paul Chamber Celebrate Service Award. In 2022, the St. Paul Chamber created the Celebrate Service Award to recognize businesses and nonprofit organizations in services to the Twin Cities Region.
“Comcast has long been a leader and strong civic partner, particularly in service to urgent needs within the community,” said B Kyle, President of the St. Paul Chamber of Commerce. “The Comcast RISE program is a shining example of harnessing strength in service to small businesses especially impacted by the economic fall-out from the pandemic. We are honored to have the opportunity to shine a spotlight on these efforts, by awarding Comcast the inaugural Celebration of Service Award.”

In 2020 we introduced Comcast RISE, a multi-faceted program offering grants, marketing services, and technology upgrades. Comcast RISE, which stands for “Representation, Investment, Strength and Empowerment” was created to strengthen and empower small businesses hardest hit by COVID-19. This includes Black, Indigenous, Hispanic, and Asian American business owners, among others. We recently awarded $10,000 grants, totaling $1 million, to 100 small business owned by people of color, in the Twin Cities, through the Comcast RISE Investment Fund.
