Doubles for a Cause: Baseball Partnership Boosts Twin Cities’ Non-Profits

At Comcast, how we show up across our local communities is just as important as the world-class products and services we provide to our customers.
During the 2025 baseball season, the Comcast Midwest Region has partnered with the St. Paul Saints to show appreciation for our incredible roster of community partners throughout the Twin Cities. For every double the Saints hit at CHS Field this season, Comcast is donating $100 to a different local non-profit each month.
Here are the organizations supported thus far, totaling more than $6,000:
In May, Comcast donated $2,300 to Neighborhood House. Since 1897, this St. Paul-based organization has been a full-service hub for those seeking assistance with basic needs, from food to housing, while creating future opportunities through digital skills training and workforce development programming.
In June, Comcast donated $1,400 to Every Third Saturday (ETS). Since 2009, the Minneapolis-based veteran service organization has fostered hope and post traumatic growth by supporting, connecting, and empowering veterans and their families throughout our community.
In July, Comcast donated $2,600 to Special Olympics Minnesota. Since 1973, the organization was founded on the belief that people with intellectual and physical disabilities can — with proper instruction and encouragement — learn, enjoy and benefit from participation in individual and team sports, adapted as necessary to meet their needs.
Comcast also plans donations to JK Movement and Way to Grow before hosting a very special Teacher Appreciation Night for the fourth consecutive year at the ballpark on Friday, September 12.
