On Feb. 16, 2024, Black Entrepreneurs Day brought hundreds of Black business owners to the Minnesota State Capital in St. Paul, where broadcaster and influencer Sheletta Brundidge used her small business and production company Sheletta Makes Me Laugh to create and cover the event live, including multi-camera coverage carried on KARE 11.

Viewers who tuned into the broadcast got the chance to listen to inspiring stories told by Black small business owners at the “Rally in the Rotunda” and heard from elected leaders, legislators, and policy makers.

“It was such an honor to be part of the Black Entrepreneurs Day at the Capitol,” said Campbell. “At Comcast, we strongly support the growth of small businesses and entrepreneurs that share our commitment to uplifting their local communities and driving economic growth.”
