Comcast Brings Warmth and Cheer with Hmongtown Marketplace

On December 16th, Comcast was a proud sponsor of Hmongtown Marketplace 4th annual Christmas event. The event, which began in 2018 as a way to spread holiday cheer, provided photo opportunities with Santa, children friendly activities, and free gifts for children 12 and under. Since then, the event has grown from 300 gifts, to over 600 gifts in 2023.

Lilly Her, Marketing Director at Hmongtown Marketplace, expressed her gratitude to everyone who helped make the event a success, “Everyone played a key role in helping us give back to the community, and we couldn’t be more grateful! We hope everyone has a wonderful, memorable, and happy holiday!”

APA (Asian Pacific American) employee resource group volunteers

Comcast provided handwarmers, a warm drink station where adults could enjoy hot coffee, water, and assorted teas while their children participated in the festivities. Our very own Asian Pacific American (APA) employee resource group volunteered to hand out popular snacks, hot chocolate bombs, winter accessories, and information on Comcast’s reliable connectivity and our participation in the the Affordable Connectivity Program.
