Severe weather is unpredictable and can cause outages. But with Xfinity there are still ways to stay connected, entertained, and informed.

How to get updates on service outages:

You can register your mobile phone number in My Account to receive text alerts about service interruptions.

  1. In the Users tab, select the person who would like to receive alerts.
  2. Click Edit, then click Add a mobile phone number.
  3. Enter your mobile phone number.
  4. Check your mobile phone for a text message from 266-278.
  5. Enter the verification code and click Confirm.

Already registered? You can always text OUT to 266278 to check for outages in your area.
